In the first part of this article, Jesús Alturo proposes a new reading of the funerary inscription of Tassi, the founder of the abbey of St. Pere de Rodes. Among other novelties, the suppression of CAPVT in the third verse is particularly noteworthy. In the second part of the article, Daniel Rico reflects on how this affects current archaeological interpretations of the church fabric.
